Tribes of Rajasthan have been performing this art from the ancient times and it has become an eternal part of Rajasthani culture and tradition. These beautiful puppets are made from gota work cloths and cotton fillings. The faces are shaped out of wood and male symbolizes traditional snake chambers. Rajasthani Puppets are string marionettes that originate from the state of Rajasthan in India.
